Mission to Honduras -
January 22-30, 2026
In January 2026, our Honduras Mission team will begin work in a new community just north of Caracol where safe, stable housing is greatly needed. Our big goal is to build 10 homes for families in need! In addition to the homes in this new community, we still want to remain connected to our original community of Caracol and will sponsor a Community Day to continue the relationships we have built over the past few years.

Dates
The dates of our trip are January 22 - 30, 2026 (Thursday to the following Friday).
We are also looking for 2-3 volunteers to participate in a pre-trip from January 19-22 to do a bit of pre-work so that the team's work is a bit more doable.
Cost
The cost for the January 22-30 trip will be approximately $650 - 700 per person. This includes room and board (transportation, lodging, and all meals once in Honduras), plus the cost of an airline ticket on Delta, which will likely range from $550 - 800 per person.
Type of Work
Our team will build simple homes in the community and no special construction experience is necessary as we mainly focus on hammering and painting! Additional projects our teams have completed include the construction of a playground and a mural painted on the school wall.
Internet Availability
Our recommendation is to leave phones on airplane mode, to initiate an international plan with your phone company or download an e-SIM prior to departing. Phones receive "fairly good" service at the retreat center, but no service at all in Caracol. The retreat center has an "internet room" where team members can access (very slow and spotty) internet.
