We are committed to helping both your youth and your family grow deeper in your faith. Each of our programs has been designed with youth in mind - to foster spiritual growth through welcoming people to Christ, growing our relationship with God, loving others through service. We want each of your youth to have a memorable experience in their teenage years and to develop a lifelong faith.
Every student should be on this path whether he or she is just beginning or ready to show Jesus’ love and tell others that they are growing in their relationship personally with the Lord. The Youth program here at Skidaway Island UMC includes students in Middle and High School (grades 6th - 12th). Along with pursuing a deeper relationship with Christ, we love hanging out, having fun, and serving others!
wednesdays
Wednesday nights are focused on building community through fellowship, sharing a meal together, and spiritual growth through relevant teaching. Our goal is to challenge our students to build genuine relationships with each other and God.

Sleepover Mid-week
Volunteer hours provided!
This all-day camp for our teens focuses serving those in need here in our local community. Each day, we will gather at the church for a time of teaching and interaction to learn more about where we will be working, and then fan into the community for a full day of serving. Activities will range from relational interactions at a local nursing home to simple construction and painting projects. Together, we will make an impact on those we serve as we share the light of Christ in our community. The week will also include an optional mid-week overnight campout for our students at SIUMC's new open-air pavilion.
