Karsyn Jewell
Message from Karsyn:
Hi! I'm so excited you're here. I graduated from GCSU in Milledgeville, GA in 2025 with a B.A in Film/TV Production! I love coffee, going on walks, laughing in serious situations, and making sure every student has a place to belong and feel seen. Come hang out with us and be part of the SIMC YTH family!

Message from Bryce:
Hey there! I’m thankful God has led you here! I graduated from CIU in South Carolina with a B.S. in Business & B.A in Biblical Studies, while also holding an M.A. in Theological Studies from Asbury Seminary. If I’m not at the church, you’ll probably find me running. Come find thriving community here!

Youth Leadership
Tripp
Tripp is a Senior at Savannah Country Day School, where he enjoys lacrosse and clay target shooting. He is an Eagle Scout and a staff member at the local scout camp. Tripp enjoys being active with the youth group and learning about Christ in a fun environment with all his friends! He is so excited for year two of Youth Leadership with SMYM!
Fun Fact: Tripp is the proud owner of a pet pig named Chris P. Bacon!
Lila
Lila is Junior at Savannah Arts Academy. She recently went to Honduras for the second time and is so grateful for her time in the Caracol community! She likes photography, theatre, tennis and spending time with friends. She is so excited for her second year of Youth Leadership!
Fun fact: Lila once won a summer camp talent show because of her double jointed arms & elbows!
Sasha
Sasha is a Junior at Savannah Arts Academy! She recently went on her first mission trip to Honduras, and always had a herd of animals and kids following her around! She is very involved in volunteer work around the Savannah community and can’t wait to be a part of Youth Leadership this year!
Fun Fact: Sasha is a citizen of three different countries! The United States, Argentina and Italy!
Jones
Jones is a Senior at Savannah Country Day School. This summer, his passion for Christ was brought to life in a new way through mission work in Honduras, as well as leading at VBS. He finds joy in creativity and is always looking for ways to serve those around him. Jones is pumped for his first year as a Youth Leader!
Fun Fact: Jones can do some legendary impersonations of those around him.
